Hanan
Hanan grew up in Vancouver.
After college, Hanan worked in San Francisco for five years and
was spoiled with all the selection of great libations available in
the Bay Area. He returned to British Columbia and noticed that
many of the fine crafted brew he enjoyed were
not available. He reminisced about those tasty beverages at the
Toronado and those great late night session selections. Enough was
enough, he finally decided to team up with a fellow Ale addict
Norm to bring real Ales to the Canadian West.
Norm
Originally from Vancouver,
Norm went to business school in Oregon and lived in SE Portland
for a few years in the late nineties (a block away from the Horse
Brass and Belmont Station) – he enjoyed many great brews at many
fantastic locations with hundreds of taps. He moved to Asia for
work and then back to Vancouver – he hungered for the flavourful
ales he got accustomed to in Oregon as it was hard to find in Asia
and B.C. After years of frustration without
finding a good selection of ales, Norm decided to take destiny in
to his own hands and with his fellow brother-in-arms Hanan they
set on a quest to bring only the best libations to Canada. |
