Dunkelweizen translates from
German to mean dark wheat beer. Gordon Biersch Dunkelweizen
achieves its malty flavor from the dark malted wheat and
caramelized dark wheat. The roasted malt flavor compliments the
unique flavor profiles created from the special Bavarian
Hefeweizen Our Dunkelweizen adheres to all of the traditions of
the Reinheitsgebot (German Purity Law of 1516) and is naturally
carbonated. This is the most unique wheat beer on the market and
the only one being bottled in any significant quantity in the U.S.
